AI-powered Drone Detection MyDefense – DRONELIFE

New AI-Driven “Spectrum Warrior” Enhances Drone Detection in High-Threat Zones
As drones become more advanced and pose an increasing threat to military operations and critical infrastructure, the need for effective counter-drone systems has grown. In response, MyDefence has introduced its latest innovation, the AI-powered “Spectrum Warrior,” designed to improve soldier protection and strengthen defenses in conflict zones.

Addressing Evolving Threats with Advanced Technology
Traditional drone detection systems are struggling to keep up with the rising complexity of unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The introduction of Spectrum Warrior marks an important step forward. This AI-enhanced solution builds on MyDefence’s previous technology, the “Wingman” units, which have already seen widespread deployment, with more than 2,000 units in high-risk areas like Ukraine.

MyDefence’s experience with these deployments has provided valuable insights that have informed the development of Spectrum Warrior. “Our mission is to protect lives and critical infrastructure,” said Dan Hermansen, CEO of MyDefence. “By working closely with soldiers, we have been able to refine our solutions to address the complex realities of modern warfare. Spectrum Warrior is a reflection of that mission and the collaboration with those on the frontlines.”
Designed for Modern Warfare
Spectrum Warrior offers AI-powered frequency surveillance, designed to detect drones across a wide range of radio frequencies. This system integrates with tools like the Android Tactical Awareness Kit (ATAK) to improve situational awareness, threat detection, and battlefield coordination. By capturing critical signals and enabling faster response times, Spectrum Warrior enhances soldiers’ ability to neutralize aerial threats.
This technology is specifically built to evolve continuously, with multiple updates planned each year. The goal is to ensure that soldiers are always prepared for new and emerging challenges in electronic warfare.

Availability and Future Development
The first upgrades to the Wingman system, which include Spectrum Warrior features, are now available. MyDefence is committed to ongoing development to meet the demands of rapidly changing threat environments.
