Nationwide BVLOS Waiver Enables More Efficient and Safer Inspections for Critical Infrastructure
Cyberhawk has received a significant nationwide Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) waiver from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), allowing the company to operate drones without the need for a visual observer. According to Scott Lashmit, Cyberhawk’s U.S. Aviation Manager, “With the nationwide BVLOS waiver, we can potentially more than double the amount of surveyed assets collected in a day – saving our customers valuable time and costs.” The ability to gather actionable data and images quickly is crucial for customers who need to make informed decisions regarding the safety and integrity of critical infrastructure.
