Commercial UAV Expo Advisory Board

Charting the Future: Commercial UAV Expo Assembles Industry Titans for 10th Edition Advisory Board
The Commercial UAV Expo, one of the world’s most important commercial drone trade shows and conferences, is gearing up for its landmark 10th edition: with the involvement of an Advisory Board comprised of prominent figures in the commercial Unmanned Aerial System (UAS) sector. This Board is tasked with shaping the event’s programming, selecting speakers, and providing pivotal insights. Additionally, certain Board members will contribute to a new scholarship initiative, details of which will be disclosed later this spring.
Scheduled to take place from September 3 to 5, 2024, at the Caesars Forum in Las Vegas, Nevada, the expo aims to continue its legacy of fostering advancements in the commercial drone space. “The Commercial UAV Advisory Board is invaluable in helping to shape and direct the event, especially concerning conference programming,” Lee Corkhill, Group Director at Diversified Communications, the event’s organizer, remarked. “Their expertise enables our team to maintain the high-quality education that commercial UAV professionals expect from our expo.”

The Advisory Board boasts a diverse lineup of industry leaders, including Dallas Brooks of drone delivery pioneers Wing, Keaton Denzer of industrial gian Bechtel, and Lisa Ellman of Hogan Lovells/Commercial Drone Alliance, among others. Their collective experience spans a wide range of sectors, promising a comprehensive guide to the event’s focus and direction.

This year’s conference programming, under the theme “Drones in Action,” will center on practical applications of drones that enhance efficiency, safety, and effectiveness. It will specifically spotlight strategies for creating successful drone programs within the Energy & Utilities, Construction, and Infrastructure & Transportation sectors. The transformative impact of UAS technology on these areas will be a key highlight, emphasizing the real-world benefits and innovations brought about by drone integration.

Beyond the conference, the Commercial UAV Expo will feature a vendor-neutral show floor, housing more exhibitors than any other event dedicated to commercial UAS applications. Attendees can expect to see leading-edge solutions from manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers. The event will also include Exhibitor Showcases, the DRONERESPONDERS Public Safety Summit, the HYSKY Society’s FLYING HY Conference, and live Outdoor Flying Demonstrations, among other attractions.
Registration for the expo opens in May, with early sign-ups benefiting from discounted pricing.
