Cyberdrone AC Milan Celebration Dubai

A Dazzling Display of Football and Technology
Cyberdrone brought AC Milan’s legacy to life in the Dubai night sky with a 1,000-drone light show celebrating the football club’s 125th anniversary and the first year of Casa Milan Dubai.
The aerial display showcased AC Milan’s iconic crest, the red and black jersey, and the 125th-anniversary emblem, creating a visual spectacle for fans and partners. This innovative event demonstrated the club’s growing presence in the Middle East, highlighting football’s global appeal.
Crafting an Unforgettable Experience
Extensive preparation ensured the success of the light show, from animation design to securing flight permissions and coordinating logistics. Mohamed Munjed Abdulla, Director of Sales at Cyberdrone, shared the team’s vision:

“Our main goal was to spotlight AC Milan’s iconic symbols, tying them into a seamless narrative that celebrated the club’s history, its anniversary in Dubai, and football as a global phenomenon. The show also bolstered the club’s presence in the Middle East, expanding its fanbase and drawing widespread attention innovatively and positively. Experiences remain one of the strongest drivers of partnerships, success, and growth—and drone shows excel at delivering the most memorable impressions.”

AC Milan’s Regional Director for MENA, Greta Nardeschi, reflected on the collaboration:“We enjoyed collaborating with Cyberdone for our incredible 1,000-drone show – it allowed us to engage with our audiences, surprise and inspire our fans in new ways and provide visibility to our Partners. We like to say we are bringing our Club’s to new heights and Cyberdone did just that for us!”

A Growing Entertainment Industry
This event exemplifies the transformative role technology plays in sports celebrations and fan engagement. The sports industry continues to boost Dubai’s economy, contributing $2.4 billion to GDP and generating $1.763 billion in event revenue annually. Meanwhile, the broader MENA entertainment industry, valued at $41.13 billion in 2024, is experiencing rapid technological growth with a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 9.41%.
