Elsight Customer Champions Award – DRONELIFE

Innovative Halo Platform Drives Growth and Customer Success for Uncrewed Systems Connectivity
Elsight (ASX-ELS), known for connectivity solutions for unmanned and autonomous systems, has been recognized in The Australian Financial Review‘s (AFR) inaugural Customer Champions List for 2024. This list highlights companies that provide exceptional value and experiences to their customers while also achieving growth in revenue and shareholder returns.
Recognizing Excellence in Customer Value
The AFR Customer Champions List celebrates companies that prioritize customer value alongside business growth. Companies included on the list distinguish themselves by approaching business in ways that support both customer and shareholder success. Elsight’s Chief Executive Officer, Yoav Amitai, views the inclusion on the list as a testament to the company’s dedication to customer satisfaction through its Halo platform.
“Customer satisfaction is supreme,” said Mr. Amitai. “Elsight invests in customer success, and we understand that this is the best way for us to grow.”

The Halo platform addresses both regulatory requirements and the need for scalable solutions in various sectors, allowing Elsight’s partners in drone manufacturing and operations to grow their businesses with confidence.
Key Achievements and Growing Market Presence
Elsight’s recognition follows a year of strong growth and industry advancements. In the first half of 2024, the company reported an 83% revenue increase compared to the previous year. Recently, Elsight also secured its largest defense contract to date, partnering with a major defense contractor to create and supply a new communications device for defense applications.
The Halo platform stands out as a robust, reliable connectivity solution for beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) missions, designed to withstand challenging environments. Halo’s technology creates a bonded communications link that combines four cellular connections, providing consistent connectivity in remote areas. If necessary, Halo can also integrate satellite and radio connections for continuous operation.

“Halo allows customers to reach their targets more efficiently without the use of human observers and to scale their business by requiring only one operator to fly many drones,” Mr. Amitai noted. With its lightweight design at only 93 grams, Halo is also portable and can be deployed in areas without existing infrastructure.
Broadening Applications for Halo Connectivity
Elsight’s Halo technology extends beyond drones to a wider range of uncrewed systems, including aerial taxis, autonomous vehicles, and robotics. With features like remote identification, Halo aids drone operators in achieving compliance with global aviation standards, including FAA in the United States, EASA in Europe, and CASA in Australia.
“These aspects of the Halo are the catalysts to moving the needle forward in the wider uncrewed aerial market that includes drones, aerial taxis, and ground systems,” said Mr. Amitai. “It provides an infinite number of applications that will disrupt the Australian landscape and economy in so many positive ways.”
With the uncrewed systems market at a key growth phase, Elsight’s Halo platform is positioned to play a vital role in supporting operators’ scalability and compliance, fostering the expansion of drones and other autonomous technologies across industries.
As Mr. Amitai explained, “Our joint marketing together with customers strives to keep the drone market top of mind as the new disruptor and enabler for so many public-serving applications. From shark watching to firefighting to serving people in Australia’s remote areas with essential deliveries of medicine, drones can make great changes in people’s lives.”
