Drone Startup Responds to Prime Minister Modi’s Agricultural Revolution with Strategic Financial Move: Garuda Aerospace Prepares for IPO
Garuda Aerospace, a drone startup, has announced plans to expedite its Initial Public Offering (IPO) in response to the ‘Namo Drone Didi’ initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The initiative, which includes an allocation of 1261 crores for the deployment of 15,000 Kisan Drones, aims to transform the agricultural sector and support rural communities, with a particular focus on women entrepreneurs.
The government’s significant investment in Kisan Drones is seen as a commitment to innovation and societal impact within the agricultural sector. The ‘Namo Drone Didi’ initiative also aims to empower 15,000 women rural entrepreneurs, aligning with Garuda Aerospace’s core values. The company plans to train these entrepreneurs to use Kisan Drones, with the goal of supporting Women Self-Help Groups over the next two years.

This government investment has attracted the attention of venture capital funds interested in agri-drone companies, highlighting the potential within the agriculture sector for innovation. In light of this, Garuda Aerospace has decided to expedite its IPO plans. The funds raised will be used to expand operations, increase research and development efforts, and enhance the company’s ability to serve the agricultural community.
Agnishwar Jayprakash, Founder and CEO of Garuda Aerospace, stated, “Prime Minister Modi Ji’s ‘Namo Drone Didi’ initiative is a significant moment for the agriculture sector and a testament to his commitment to empowering rural women entrepreneurs. We are accelerating our IPO plans to expand our operations, intensify our research and development efforts, and better serve the agricultural community. We believe that ‘Namo Drone Didi’ has the potential to have a profound societal impact, and we are excited to be a part of this initiative.”
Garuda Aerospace looks forward to contributing to the success of the ‘Namo Drone Didi’ initiative and continues to commit to innovation for a sustainable future.
