JOUAV Launches Upgraded PH-20 Drone System

Enhanced Features for Diverse Industrial Applications
JOUAV, a leading Chinese industrial UAV manufacturer, has announced the launch of an upgraded version of its PH-20 multi-rotor UAV. This professional-grade drone system is designed to improve the efficiency and ease of flight operations across various sectors, including surveying, infrastructure monitoring, public safety, emergency response, and disaster rescue.

Established in 2010, JOUAV focuses on the research, development, production, sales, and service of industrial UAV-related products. The company is committed to providing customers with intelligent, standardized, and tooled industrial UAV systems. JOUAV’s position as one of the most competitive industrial UAV enterprises in China is reflected in its leading domestic growth. On February 10th, 2021, JOUAV was listed on the Science and Technology Innovation Board of the Shanghai Stock Exchange, marking a significant milestone as the first domestic company to go public with drones as its primary business.

The upgraded PH-20 UAV maintains its six-rotor design, 10kg payload capacity, extended flight endurance, and lightweight yet robust carbon fiber composite construction. The plug-in arm design facilitates quick deployment and ease of maintenance, making it a practical choice for various applications.
Key Upgraded Features:
Advanced Avionics System: The PH-20 now includes a new intelligent flight control system, CAN bus communication, and sensor redundancy, ensuring enhanced performance and reliability.
Enhanced Obstacle Avoidance: The integration of FPV and four-direction MMW obstacle avoidance radar (front, bottom, left, right) supports multi-directional flight safety.

Improved Flight Safety Technologies: Features such as Beidou positioning, magnetic compass, backup GPS positioning, RTK differential positioning and orientation, and automatic return-to-home triggered by low voltage, communication loss, or altitude anomalies ensure safe and reliable operations with robust emergency support mechanisms.
Upgraded Payload Interface & Capacity: The PH-20 can carry four payloads simultaneously, including a gimbal camera, a drop kit, an LED searchlight, and a loudspeaker. This allows for visible light monitoring, infrared thermal imaging detection, aerial warnings, nighttime aerial illumination, and material delivery. These capabilities offer significant advantages in public security monitoring and emergency rescue missions. Additionally, the PH-20 supports LiDAR integration, providing an 80-minute flight time, intelligent terrain following, and multi-mode flight routes.
The PH-20’s upgraded features make it a valuable asset for various industries, enabling efficient mapping, reconnaissance, monitoring, and rescue tasks. It excels in traversing complex terrains and performing large-scale, long-distance operations, thereby simplifying user operation and enhancing workflow efficiency.
