Manned-Unmanned Teaming UAVs Primoco UAV SE

Successful Flight Test Highlights Future of Autonomous UAV Operations
In a recent flight test, UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía and Primoco UAV SE demonstrated the integration of advanced guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) technologies with teaming intelligence software. This test validated real-time swarm coordination and Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUT) missions, showing the potential of autonomous UAV operations.
Enhancing UAV Coordination and Autonomy
The test campaign showcased how UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía’s Flight Control Systems (FCS) ensure precision, reliability, and seamless interoperability. The VECTOR-600 autopilot was adapted to process mission commands through a dedicated interface with the Mission Control Computer (MCC). This integration allowed multiple UAVs to execute complex missions under the coordination of a manned aircraft.
“The intelligence provided by the Spanish company’s autopilots demonstrated their ability to carry out Manned-Unmanned Teaming and swarming operations.”

Real-Time Surveillance and Threat Detection
The collaboration between UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía and Primoco UAV SE builds on years of technological development. In this demonstration, multiple UAVs worked together to perform surveillance and threat detection tasks. The use of AI-based Automatic Target Recognition (ATR) software enabled the UAVs to autonomously identify and classify threats, improving operational efficiency.
Additionally, third-party applications were successfully integrated, proving the scalability of the solution. UAVs reassigned tasks dynamically, demonstrating autonomous decision-making and adaptability in demanding environments.
Advancing Autonomous Flight Technology
Beyond this test, UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía continues to innovate in autonomous flight, Manned-Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T), and swarming technologies. Its advanced flight control systems allow integration with manned aircraft, supporting real-time mission execution. The company also incorporates On-Screen Display (OSD) and First-Person View (FPV) guidance to enhance situational awareness through the Primary Flight Display (PFD).

Expanding UAV Capabilities for the Future
This successful demonstration underscores the potential of UAV Navigation-Grupo Oesía’s technology in advancing UAV operations. As the collaboration with Primoco UAV SE continues, these developments pave the way for increased autonomy and resilience in UAV applications for defense, security, and critical infrastructure.
