SkySafe Contract Withe Amentum for Drone Detection on Border

New Partnership to Strengthen US Southern Border Protection
SkySafe, a leading company in drone detection and airspace security, has been awarded a significant contract by Amentum, a global engineering and project management firm. This contract is part of the Department of Defense Information Analysis Center’s (DoD IAC) multiple-award contract (MAC) vehicle. The Department of Homeland Security Science and Technology Directorate (DHS S&T) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) are the primary agencies involved.
Enhancing Border Security with Advanced Technology
SkySafe will implement its cutting-edge, cloud-based drone detection system along a section of the US Southern border. This initiative aims to reduce the smuggling of illicit goods into the United States. The project, selected through a competitive process, will be rolled out in phases to ensure effective deployment and operation.
“Amentum is committed to solving our customer’s most difficult challenges through innovation and industry collaboration,” said Kris Meyer, Amentum Counter-Uncrewed Systems Portfolio Manager. “We are proud to work on this important counter-UAS initiative with SkySafe.”

SkySafe’s technology integrates hardware and software to offer real-time drone detection, tracking, and identification. This comprehensive Software as a Service (SaaS) solution will provide CBP agents with immediate alerts, enhancing their situational awareness and response capabilities.
