Zipline has released a video offering an inside look at its new P2 drone delivery system. The video showcases Zipline’s manufacturing process, reliability testing, and test deliveries, all leading up to the system’s rollout.

Manufacturing and Testing for Safety
The video highlights Zipline’s rigorous manufacturing process, ensuring each drone is built for safety and performance. Behind-the-scenes footage shows extensive reliability tests that each drone must pass before it’s ready for delivery. These checks ensure the P2 system performs smoothly in real-world conditions.

Test Deliveries in Action
Viewers also get a glimpse of test deliveries, showing how Zipline’s drones fly over 300 feet above ground, nearly silently. When the drone arrives, a delivery droid lowers the package on a tether, ensuring safe and accurate drop-offs.
